About the Role
We are seeking a motivated Entry-Level QA Analyst to join our technology team and support the quality and reliability of software applications. This role is ideal for a recent college graduate or earlycareer professional looking to start a career in Information Technology Software Testing or Quality Assurance.
You will work closely with developers product managers and senior QA team members to test applications identify defects and ensure software meets functional and user requirements.
Key Responsibilities
Execute manual test cases for web and/or application-based systems
Identify document and track software defects using issuetracking tools (e.g. Jira or similar)
Perform functional regression smoke and user acceptance testing (UAT)
Review business and technical requirements to ensure test coverage
Collaborate with developers to reproduce issues and validate fixes
Participate in Agile ceremonies such as standups sprint planning and retrospectives
Maintain clear test documentation including test cases and test results
Learn and apply QA best practices tools and methodologies under guidance from senior QA staff
Required Qualifications
Bachelors degree in Information Systems Computer Science IT Engineering or related field
Strong attention to detail and problemsolving skills
Basic understanding of the software development lifecycle (SDLC)
Ability to clearly document issues and communicate findings
Familiarity with common software tools (Excel browsers basic databases or ticketing systems)
Willingness to learn QA tools testing techniques and industry standards
Nice to Have
Internship coursework or projects related to software testing or QA
Exposure to Agile or Scrum environments
Familiarity with tools such as Jira TestRail Postman or Selenium
Basic SQL knowledge or understanding of APIs
ISTQB Foundation certification (or interest in pursuing)
