Overview
Seeking an experienced Journeyman Electrician to support maintenance operations in a food manufacturing environment. The role involves electrical/mechanical troubleshooting PLC maintenance equipment repair and ensuring safe production operations.

Key Responsibilities

• Troubleshoot and repair electrical mechanical PLC and control systems
• Perform preventative and annual maintenance on manufacturing equipment
• Troubleshoot Allen-Bradley PLCs and Ladder Logic systems
• Read and interpret blueprints P&IDs wiring schematics and single-line diagrams
• Use testing and calibration tools including oscilloscopes VOMs RTD calibrators and digital multimeters
• Follow LOTO procedures safety standards and maintain accurate maintenance documentation

Required Skills & Qualifications

• Michigan Journeyman Electrical/Maintenance License
• High School Diploma or GED
• 3 years of manufacturing maintenance experience
• Strong PLC and electrical troubleshooting skills
• Experience reading schematics and technical diagrams
• Ability to work weekends and off-shift hours when needed

Preferred Skills

• Food manufacturing or food processing experience
• Allen-Bradley programming/troubleshooting
• SAP/PPE system experience
• Computer literacy and calibration equipment experience
