Role Summary
Own Pricing Management Applications / Services and make pricing architecture releases and cross-domain alignment resilient and employee-led.
Key Responsibilities
Lead Java platform strategy across pricing rules service interfaces publication flows and downstream consumers.
Ensure pricing changes are accurate explainable observable and operationally supportable.
Partner with Merch PCS and adjacent engineering teams on demand planning data quality and release readiness.
Drive technical direction staffing transitions and domain documentation so the team is not dependent on single contractors.
Core Qualifications
13 years in software engineering with strong service-platform and data-flow design experience.
Comfort owning rule-driven systems APIs integration-heavy domains and stakeholder-heavy releases.
Strong communication with business architecture and operations partners.
Agentic / AI-Enabled Expectations
Adopt AI-assisted scenario analysis for pricing rule changes and release impact reviews.
Automate documentation dependency mapping and regression risk identification for Java changes.
Use agentic copilots to accelerate backlog refinement and test coverage without losing pricing control integrity.
