Position: Java Application Developer

Location: Trenton NJ; Candidates must work 3 days a week ON-SITE 8-4:30 physically IN-Office in Trenton NJ. (2 days remote work)

Duration: 1 year with possibility of extension

Job Summary

Interview process: After your candidate has been approved they will receive an automated screening questionnaire that they must complete. A Vendor Recruiter will schedule a phone screen and then present to the Hiring Manager. The client requires an onsite communication skills are required.

Job Description:

We are looking for anApplication Developerto design build and maintain healthcare data integrations across systems leveragingJavaand Python. This position will beFull-TimeandHybrid (3 days onsite) and is a 1 year contract engagement.

An onsite interview is required.

What Youll Do

• Analyze design code and perform component and assembly testing of all application code owned by the Application Team
• Design and develop key/critical modules within the clients system
• Work closely with technical and product teams to ensure seamlessdata interoperabilitybetween internal and third-party health systems
• Provide accurate estimates for design and programming efforts for system changes and enhancements
• Identify appropriate business examples to illustrate key concepts/features
• Ensure thattechnical documentationand artifacts are accurately prepared maintained and cataloged
• Collaborate with functional groups both internally (e.g. project management network operations) and externally to provide tightly integrated solutions for web applications and backend systems
• Develop new upgrades and features for the existing application

What Youll Need

Required:

• Minimum 6 years of software web development (full stack) experience and at least 5 years usingJava
• Experience with integration ofMicroservicesapplications (RESTful APIs)
• Proficiency inHTML5CSSJavaScript/TypescriptBootstrapAJAX andJSON
• End-to-end development experience withJavaJava/Spring BootRESTful APIs andNPM
• Agile developmentexperience or equivalent in a fast-paced development environment
• Experience in developing real-time web applications
• Full-time professional work experience in Information Technology

Preferred:

• Experience inhealthcare systemsanddata interoperability
• Familiarity withtechnical documentationand maintaining technical artifacts
• 2 years of experience withAngularUI development preferred

Physical Demands

• Ability to safely and successfully perform the essential job functions consistent with the ADA and other federal state and local standards.
• Ability to conduct repetitive tasks on a computer utilizing a mouse keyboard and monitor
• Must be able to communicate with customers/team members over the phone and in person
• Sedentary work that involves sitting or remaining stationary most of the time with occasional need to move around the office to attend meetings etc.
