Job Title: IT Systems Engineer (Okta/IAM)

Job Summary

We are seeking an experienced IT Systems Engineer with a strong background in Identity and Access Management (IAM) Okta administration and enterprise authentication solutions. This role will be responsible for managing secure access to business applications maintaining identity lifecycle processes and supporting authentication technologies across the organization.

Key Responsibilities

• Administer and maintain the Okta Identity and Access Management platform.
• Configure and support Single Sign-On (SSO) integrations using SAML OIDC and OAuth protocols.
• Implement and manage Multi-Factor Authentication (MFA) policies and security controls.
• Manage user provisioning deprovisioning and identity lifecycle workflows.
• Support SaaS application integrations access requests and entitlement management.
• Troubleshoot authentication authorization and access-related issues.
• Collaborate with security infrastructure and application teams to ensure secure access management practices.
• Automate and optimize identity management processes where possible.
• Create and maintain technical documentation procedures and system configurations.
• Participate in security and compliance initiatives related to access governance.

Required Qualifications

• 5 years of hands-on experience administering Okta in an enterprise environment.
• Strong expertise with SSO technologies including SAML OIDC and OAuth.
• Experience implementing and supporting MFA solutions.
• Strong understanding of identity lifecycle management and access governance.
• Experience with SaaS application provisioning and access management.
• Knowledge of user onboarding offboarding and role-based access controls.
• Strong troubleshooting and analytical skills.
• Excellent communication and collaboration abilities.

Preferred Qualifications

• Experience supporting enterprise IAM and cloud-based environments.
• Familiarity with automation and workflow management tools.
• Understanding of security frameworks and compliance requirements.
• Proximity to San Francisco or New York is a plus.
