Job Summary

Salary/Position Classification
  • $14.00 hourly Non-Exempt (Eligible for overtime)
  • 12-15 hours per week
  • 100% Remote Work Availability: No
  • Hybrid Work Availability (requires some time on campus): No
Purpose of Position

This is a part-time non-benefitted position. Only UND students are eligible to be hired into this position. Unsolicited applications to this position will NOT be considered.

Duties & Responsibilities
  • Troubleshooting software issues and installing new software
  • Troubleshooting hardware issues and installing new hardware
  • Perform scheduled maintenance on PCs and servers
  • Assist with IT inventory management
  • Other IT tasks as requested by EERC IT staff members.
Minimum Requirements
  • Major in Information Systems Computer Science or Cybersecurity is required
  • Must have experience working in Microsoft Office applications (Word Excel Outlook and PowerPoint).
  • Enrolled in a minimum of 6 credits for the employed academic semester.
  • Successful completion of a Criminal History Background Check
  • IT support experience including installing and troubleshooting software and hardware preferred.
  • Able to work independently and part of a team.
  • Be a motivated self-starter.
  • Communicate well with end-users.
