Overview The IT Recruiter will manage and participate in the hiring process through its lifecycle within our Technology Infrastructure and Innovation (TI&I) teams. The IT Recruiter provides an increased level of customer support to the organization by achieving full understanding of all processes and programs to respond to the hiring process. They anticipate next level questions collaborate with Hiring Manager and influence stakeholders to drive hiring goals. Responsibilities Provides exceptional client service and full lifecycle recruiting for TI&I and additional Bank departments Develops and maintains strong working relationships with hiring managers and senior business leaders Proven and successful track record of in identifying technical talent in Cloud DevOps Network and Systems Engineering Database Engineering Information Security and other technical infrastructure roles Develops and maintains a network of contacts to help identify and source qualified candidates Leverages online recruiting resources and in-house applications to identify and recruit candidates Proactively source and use non-traditional recruiting methods to identify top talent for niche skillsets Reviews resumes and prescreens candidates for appropriateness of skills experience and knowledge in relation to position requirements Maintains primary relationship and communication with candidates throughout the recruitment and onboarding lifecycle Assists in the scheduling and logistics of all interviews between candidates and hiring managers Works with hiring manager(s) and compensation to develop competitive offers Runs background checks review for discrepancies and escalate issues appropriately Completes new hire onboarding process with accuracy Co-facilitates New Hire Orientation sessions on a periodic basis Assist with fall/winter college recruitment efforts as needed Other duties including special projects as assigned
Qualifications To perform this job successfully the individual should have strong knowledge of recruitment techniques Minimum 3-4 years related recruitment experience Bachelors degree in Human Resources Psychology or related field Experience recruiting for multiple areas of technology (application development information security technical program and project management) is a plus Experience with diversity sourcing a plus Experience with iCIMS & Workday applicant tracking platforms preferred Strong ability to prioritize organize and multi-task in a fast-paced environment Ability to maintain a requisition load of 20-30 at a given time Solid attention to detail Excellent verbal and written communication skills; the ability to communicate effectively with our client partners is key to success Interest in serving our communities through bank sponsored events What You Need to Know CIBC is committed to creating an inclusive environment where all team members and clients feel like they belong.
