We have an opening with a great client of ours and we are looking for an Integration & Test Engineer to work in Scottsdale AZ. This is aLong-term contract positionand youmust be a US Citizen to apply. Required: US Citizenship and Residency W2 hourly Contract Only No 1099 No third parties no C2C. No exceptions (Sorry)
Pay: $40 to $44/hr. D.O.E.
INTEGRATION & TEST ENGINEER
As an Integration & Test Engineer for Tactical Communications youll be a member of a cross functional team responsible for providing rapid prototype mission critical solutions to our customer community. The Lead is responsible for overseeing the integration verification and validation of complex embedded systems within the Unified Testing Framework (UTF) environment. This role requires expert-level knowledge of testing methodologies Python programming and system integration practices to ensure product quality and reliability.
KEY RESPONSIBILITIES
- Generation of system test work products by applying the appropriate standards processes procedures and tools
- Development of test and diagnostic programs designs test fixtures and equipment and completes specifications and procedures for new products
- Development of functional environmental operational and/or performance tests on hardware software and systems
- Design development and implementation of cost-effective methods of testing and troubleshooting of hardware software and systems for all phases of product development
- Design comprehensive test plans that cover all aspects of product functionality
- Support automated test scripts using Python 3.9 following GDMS coding standards
- Implement robust verification and validation methodologies
- Participate in integration activities between hardware firmware and software teams
- Establish integration procedures that ensure smooth component interaction
- Support AGILE implementation
- Create detailed test documentation including test plans procedures and reports
- Maintain accurate records of test activities and results

WHAT YOU BRING TO THE TABLE
- A Bachelors degree in Engineering a related specialized area or field (or equivalent experience) plus a minimum of 2 years of relevant experience; or Masters degree
- Experience with test equipment (signal analyzer signal generator USRP)
- Solid knowledge in use and understanding of test engineering concepts principles and theories
- Solid knowledge and experience with object-oriented programming system processes and scripting languages
- Openly proposes ideas that enhance productivity and efficiency solicits input and optimizes solutions
- Dedicated problem-solving and analytical skills
