Location: Hybrid opportunity based in Farmington Hills Michigan offering the flexibility to balance in-office collaboration with remote work.

Note: Candidates must be licensed to practice law in Michigan and have at least 3 years of insurance defense or negligence defense litigation experience.

Job Description

• Manage a caseload of insurance defense and negligence litigation matters from inception through resolution.
• Draft pleadings motions briefs and other litigation documents.
• Conduct depositions discovery legal research and case strategy development.
• Represent clients in hearings mediations arbitrations and court proceedings.
• Collaborate with attorneys and clients to develop effective litigation strategies.
• Evaluate liability damages and settlement opportunities.
• Maintain strong client communication while delivering exceptional legal service.

Qualifications

• Active Michigan Bar license.
• 3 years of insurance defense or negligence defense litigation experience.
• Strong legal writing research and analytical skills.
• Experience handling depositions motion practice and court appearances.
• Excellent communication and client relationship skills.
• Ability to independently manage litigation files while collaborating with a team.
