Overview

Ansible Government Solutions LLC (Ansible) is currently recruiting HVAC Tech/Mechanics to support the North Texas VA Medical Center located at 4500 S. Lancaster Rd Dallas TX 75216. Shift schedule will typically be Monday-Friday 8:00am-4:30pm. Responsibilities

• Install operate repair and maintain refrigeration air conditioning heating ventilation and chilled water systems.
• Work on equipment ranging from small domestic units to systems up to 300 HP and central plants up to 500 tons.
• Inspect HVAC and refrigeration equipment for proper operation.
• Perform preventive maintenance and both major and minor repairs.
• Troubleshoot refrigerant leaks mechanical failures and control systems.
• Service compressors and HVAC components.
• Adjust calibrate and repair mechanical electrical and pneumatic controls.
• Perform chemical treatment of HVAC water systems.
• Coordinate daily work assignments with the VA COR.
• Provide daily reports including completed work preventive maintenance parts replaced equipment serviced and follow-up needs.
• Complete daily timecards and documentation of work performed.
• Follow VA check-in/check-out procedures and safety requirements.

Qualifications

• Minimum 4 years of journeyman-level refrigeration and air conditioning mechanic
• Experience with HVAC refrigeration heating ventilation and chilled water systems.
• Experience performing repairs troubleshooting and maintenance on large commercial HVAC systems.
• Experience in hospital or critical infrastructure environments preferred
• Active Texas HVAC License required.
• Siemens Controls Training certification required.
• OSHA Certification required.
• Ability to read and interpret:

  • Mechanical drawings
  • Wiring diagrams
  • Schematics

All candidates must be able to:

• Sit stand walk lift squat bend twist and reach above shoulders during the work shift
• Lift up to 50 lbs from floor to waist
• Lift up to 20 lbs
• Carry up to 40 lbs a reasonable distance
• Push/pull with 30 lbs of force
