Responsible for installing operating and maintaining all heating ventilation and cooling systems in the hospital.
1. Maintain proper temperatures and ventilation throughout the hospital. Maintain all control systems (electric and pneumatic) for AHU and chillers.
2. Assure all medical gases are maintained at proper pressures. Test heating and cooling water and add chemicals as needed.
3. Conduct preventative maintenance necessary to maintain all equipment. Repair any equipment that is not operating properly.
4. Install all new equipment including duct installations and piping medical gases.
5. Perform all other duties as assigned.
Vocational/technical training and a minimum of five years job-related experience or equivalent is required. RI Refigeration License is also required.
