General Position Description: Provides full-service recruitment for organization positions.


Essential Duties and Responsibilities:

  • Reviews recruits interviews and facilitates the hiring of qualified job applicants for open positions. This includes but not limited to posting positions reviewing and pre-screening candidates set department interviews perform any pre-selection testing complete the onboarding process and audit file for new hires.
  • Collaborates with departmental managers to understand skills and competencies required for openings and match them with candidates.
  • Provides training to end users about the process forms and requirements for the recruitment process.
  • Conducts and ensures all background checks and pre-employment checks are done before start. Maintains compliance with federal state and local employment laws and regulations and recommended best practices.
  • Sources enrolls and attends job fairs and recruiting sessions for positions across all assigned areas. Researches new posting opportunities manage job posting and advertisement processes.
  • Assists with new employee orientation and other trainings as needed.
  • Provides general administrative and HR support as requested. Assists HR with audits as needed.
  • Enters employee data into HR systems including new hires and changes with accuracy.
  • Creates a positive experience with each candidate during interviewing and onboarding.
  • Participates in the process of ongoing professional development. Maintains comprehensive communication among all contacts within the agency members and external agencies. Models professional standards and ethics in accordance with EBF Code of Conduct Strategic Plan Mission and Vision.
  • Performs other duties as assigned.
Requirements

Minimum Requirements: High School Diploma / GED Required with 4 years of recruitment experience required. Bachelors degree preferred. Bilingual (Spanish) preferred.

Regulatory

  • Must be at least 21 years of age.
  • Current unrestricted AZ drivers license with no more than two (2) minor moving violations or one (1) accident within the past three (3 years). Three (3) years of driving experience required.
  • Transportation to attend trainings and perform other work-related activities. Organizational vehicles may not be available at all times.
  • Must be able to pass a criminal background check prior to employment and regular checks for the duration of the employment.
  • Ability to obtain and maintain an AZ DPS Level 1 fingerprint clearance card (employer provides).

Skills/Job Knowledge/Abilities: Able to establish and maintain team atmosphere of communication and collaboration for all that reach out to the Department. Must be self-directed and be sensitive to cultural and linguistic diversity. Excellent customer service in stressful situations. Maintains a professional in appearance communications and actions. Excellent interpersonal communication skills. Full understanding of recruitment practices and procedures. Possess a high level of computer proficiency and Microsoft Office Suite. Proficiency with or the ability to quickly learn the organizations HRIS and talent management systems.


Working Conditions/Physical Requirements (with or without accommodation): Normal office environment with multiple interruptions in person and through computer and phone. Travel to outlying sites other locations and job fairs. Interacts with employees and members of the public on a daily basis. May lift normal office equipment and materials up to 25lbs. Visual acuity to read information from computer screens and forms. Able to speak clearly in conversations and general communications. Hearing ability for communication in persona phone and/or other electronic methods. Manual dexterity for typing and writing. Able to stoop squat reach pull push stretch ascend and descend stairs stand and sit for long periods of time. May be required to work additional hours or days depending on circumstances.
