Under general supervision the Human Resources Receptionist/Assistant provides front desk services coordinates new employee onboarding processes I-9 documentation maintains personnel records and supports recruitment and compensation activities. The position responds to inquiries resolves concerns and ensures accurate administrative processes.
- Provides customer service in-person through email and over the telephone by providing information and resolving inquiries for a diverse campus and community.
- Coordinates gathers information and makes determinations ensuring that telephone calls email inquiries and visitors are screened and directed to the appropriate individual.
- Ensures the timely and accurate sign in of new employees (Staff Management Faculty TA GA and Student Assistants) including scheduling appointments sending confirmation and follow up emails as needed I-9 processing creation of employee ID and/or email addresses and photo ID.
- Ensures scanning/indexing of personnel documents into the document imaging system (Hard files and digital files).
- Creates and maintains files for confidential tenure-track faculty and volunteer files.
- Performs other duties as assigned.
