Working here means leading people in a genuinely unique operating environment: a close-knit seasonal workforce on-site housing and a level of service excellence that few properties in the world are held Director of Human Resources leads the full HR function at The Ranch employment compensation and benefits training employee and labor relations organizational development and payroll oversight while serving as a steward of workplace culture and a trusted resource for employees at every level. This role partners closely with the General Manager to maximize employee engagement and service excellence and serves as a member of the Senior Leadership Team leading a team of three HR DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIESLead the Human Resources Department including annual objectives departmental strategy and management of a team of staff housing both on-site and off-site in a consistent and fair manner in line with our culture ensuring a positive experience for our and help shape a workplace culture grounded in trust respect and professionalism modeling those standards personally and holding others accountable to and ensure consistent adherence to all personnel policies and procedures across the recruitment and hiring strategy for all exempt and non-exempt roles including seasonal and remote-destination recruiting; personally lead recruitment for executive-level compensation and benefits administration conduct market wage/salary/benefit surveys recommend enhancements and administer employment wage 401(k) and bonus and oversee training and development programs including required anti-harassment and anti-discrimination training management/supervisory development and brand-standard training performance management across all departments including administration of performance appraisals and the disciplinary compliant HR records and systems and monitor the propertys compliance with applicable federal state and local employment and investigate employee relations and labor matters ensuring a fair consistent and legally sound in the budget process for staffing productivity and benefits/labor costs; monitor turnover and recommend payroll processes to ensure accuracy timeliness and risk associate benefit programs including enrollment and vendor as an active member of theSenior Leadership Team partnering with property leadership on organizational independence and confidentiality in all employee relations matters avoiding any actual or perceived conflict of interest in the handling of complaints or promptly any personal financial or relational conflict of interest that could compromise objectivity in an HRmatter andrecuse as all employees have a clear confidential path to raise workplace concerns and that all complaints are handled without retaliation consistent with company policy and applicable years of experience in a senior Human Resources role degree or above in Human Resources or related field; PHR/SPHR or SHRM certification strongly HR management experience in the hospitality industry strongly knowledge of recruitment strategy within a seasonal remote-destination environment within Forbes Five Star and/or Leading Hotels of the World standards and culture in seasonal hospitality or national park environments SKILLS/EQUIPMENTExcellent verbal and written communication organizational skills and sound judgment handling sensitive confidential to interact effectively and build trust with staff at all with Workers Compensation issues and development of modified work to travel to support recruitment trips career fairs and job placement/exchange to work a flexible schedule including weekends and EMPLOYMENT OPPORTUNITYThe Ranch at Rock Creek is an Equal Opportunity Employer.
