Diversity is seeking a highly organized compassionate and motivated Human Resources Coordinator to support our growing team of professionals serving individuals with Intellectual & Developmental Disabilities (IDD). If you are passionate about people compliance recruitment employee engagement and creating a strong workplace culture we want to hear from you. This full-time opportunity is in the Chesterfield/Richmond area.
What Youll Do
Coordinate hiring onboarding and orientation for new employees
Assist with recruitment for Direct Support Professionals (DSPs) Nurses and Supervisors
Maintain employee records and HR compliance documentation
Track training certifications and background checks
Support employee engagement and retention initiatives
Targeted recruitment screen and schedule interviews and organize career fairs
Help ensure compliance with Virginia DBHDS and Medicaid staffing requirements
Manage HR communication and employee support
Collaborate with leadership to build a positive workplace culture
Preferred Qualifications
2-5 years of experience in Human Resources Healthcare Social Services or IDD services preferred
Strong organizational and communication skills (bilingual proficiency preferred).
Ability to multitask in a fast-paced environment
Experience with targeted recruiting and onboarding in a residential setting preferred
Professional dependable and team-oriented
Proficiency with Microsoft Office and digital HR systems
Knowledge of DBHDS or Medicaid waiver services is a plus
