The Department of Transportation and Public Facilities (DOT&PF) Program Management and Administration is looking for a Payroll Technician (Human Resource Technician 2) to help us Keep Alaska Moving!
What you will be doing:

Come join our team who are responsible for the timely and accurate processing certification review and audit of all payroll and personnel actions for the Alaska Marine Highway System (AHMS).Under general supervision of the payroll services supervisor this position assures all payroll personnel and leave transactions are completed in accordance with applicable Personnel Rules bargaining unit provisions statutes and standard operating procedures. You will provide technical information and assistance to managers employees and the public

Our office in Juneau is conveniently located at 3.5 mile next to SEARHC and close to DIPAC Macaulay Salmon Hatchery a central location with plenty of parking and a view of the channel. In-state telework options are available if approved by the supervisor.Who we are looking for:
