Position Summary

The HRIS Operations Administrator is responsible for coordinating and managing the day-to-day operational workflow of the HRIS team ensuring the timely and accurate execution of employee lifecycle transactions firmwide HR operational processes and initiatives. The position provides daily operational coordination and functional direction to the HRIS team by prioritizing work coordinating assignments monitoring progress reviewing deliverables and helping remove obstacles to ensure operational priorities are successfully executed.

Working closely with the Director of HR Systems this position serves as the departments primary operational coordinator supporting the execution of strategic initiatives projects and firmwide HR programs while helping ensure the efficient delivery of operations. The HRIS Operations Administrator partners with Local Office HR Payroll Benefits Technology Finance other business functions and external vendors to support efficient HRIS operations while maintaining the integrity security and effectiveness of the Firms HR systems.

Representative Key Responsibilities

  • Administer and manage the daily operational workflow of the HRIS Team ensuring the timely and accurate processing of employee lifecycle transactions including hires transfers promotions compensation changes organizational changes leaves of absence and terminations.

  • Manage the intake assessment prioritization assignment and tracking of operational requests balancing day-to-day operations with project commitments while ensuring priorities deadlines and expectations are met.

  • Provide daily functional direction to HR Systems team by coordinating work assignments priorities timelines documentation and deliverables while monitoring progress and resolving operational issues.

  • Serve as the central point of coordination for the team ensuring work is appropriately prioritized resources are aligned operational issues are communicated and matters requiring leadership attention are escalated to the Director of HR Systems.

  • Review and monitor the accuracy quality and timeliness of team deliverables providing operational guidance and feedback to support successful execution and compliance with Firm policies procedures and data standards.

  • Coordinate with the team to plan execute and support firmwide HR initiatives and operational programs including employee anniversaries Board nominations charitable giving campaigns policy acknowledgements employee referral awards and other HR Systems-led initiatives.

  • Working closely with the Director of HR Systems and HRIS Analysts coordinate the administration and operational support of the Firms Workday platform and related HR technologies including system enhancements releases integrations testing implementation activities and ongoing operational support.

  • Coordinate the preparation and delivery of HR reports surveys dashboards audits and data requests ensuring requirements are documented and deliverables are accurate and completed on time.

  • Maintain operational dashboards and provide the Director of HR Systems with regular updates regarding workflow volume project status priorities resource capacity operational risks and recommended actions.

  • Partner with Human Resources Payroll Benefits Technology Finance and third-party vendors to coordinate operational activities resolve issues and support cross-functional initiatives.

  • Coordinate project planning implementation activities documentation communications training and operational readiness for new processes system enhancements and firmwide initiatives.

  • Identify opportunities to improve operational efficiency streamline processes strengthen data quality and controls and coordinate knowledge sharing and documentation to support consistency continuous improvement and business continuity.

Required Education Knowledge and Experience

  • Seven or more years of progressively responsible professional experience in HRIS HR technology HR operations enterprise systems or a related function including at least five years of Workday experience.

  • Bachelors degree in Information Systems Business Administration Computer Science or a related field or an equivalent combination of education and relevant experience.

  • Demonstrated experience coordinating complex operational workflows multiple concurrent projects and cross-functional deliverables in a fast-paced service-oriented environment.

  • Experience providing functional direction coordinating the work of others and driving accountability for deliverables without relying solely on formal supervisory authority.

  • Strong functional knowledge of Workday HCM across multiple areas together with experience coordinating releases system enhancements functional testing User Acceptance Testing deployments and post-production support.

  • Experience working with third-party vendors HR technology integrations project plans issue logs service requests and implementation schedules; professional-services or law-firm experience is preferred.

  • Advanced proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite including Excel Word PowerPoint Teams and related project or workflow-management tools.

  • Ability to translate business needs and complex technical concepts into clear requirements assignments project plans timelines and measurable deliverables for technical and non-technical audiences.

  • Sound judgment regarding when to resolve an operational matter independently and when to escalate a performance policy capacity security or priority concern.

  • Strong customer-service orientation with a commitment to responsive accurate and high-quality support.

  • Ability to exercise discretion and maintain the confidentiality of sensitive employee compensation business and system information.

  • Ability to work efficiently and confidentially within established human resources guidelines data-governance requirements and Firm policies.

Physical Requirements of the Position

  • Must have the ability to lift and carry file boxes weighing up to 25 pounds.

The expected salary range for this position is $115000 - $125000. Final compensation will be determined based on several factors including but not limited to relevant experience qualifications skill set and geographic location.
