DCSI Training Consultant (Part-Time As Needed)

We are seeking an experienced Training Consultant to join our team on a part-time as-needed basis to facilitate engaging leadership and professional development training courses both virtually and in person. Training topics may include leadership development communication skills team effectiveness management practices and other workplace-related topics. Experience with HR compliance training is a plus but is not required.

This role requires schedule flexibility to meet client needs. Responsibilities include travel to local client sites virtual training facilitation and occasional time with the team for training coordination team-building and preparation of training materials.

The DCSI Training Consultant:

• Partners with clients to understand their training needs identify learning goals and establish objectives that support organizational priorities.
• Develops or revises training materials based on client needs and project scope.
• Researches current trends best practices and innovative approaches to keep training content relevant and engaging.
• Facilitates leadership and professional development courses virtually and in person using a variety of methods to engage adult learners.
• Encourages participation discussion and practical application of concepts to support learning and skill development.
• Responds to participant questions professionally and provides clarification and guidance as needed.
• Collaborates with the DCSI team to coordinate training activities materials and client needs.

Required Skills & Qualifications

• Bachelors degree or equivalent combination of education and relevant experience.
• Minimum of 5 years of experience in training leadership development consulting human resources or a related field.
• Strong presentation communication and facilitation skills.
• Ability to engage adult learners and adapt training approaches to different audiences.
• Flexible detail-oriented and able to manage responsibilities independently.
• Self-starter with familiarity with web-based platforms and a willingness to learn new tools and approaches.

Preferred Qualifications

• Experience delivering leadership management communication or professional development training.
• Human Resources certification training certification or another relevant professional credential.
• Experience with HR compliance training or workplace policies and practices.
