Position Summary - This internship is ideal for a student interested in recruiting candidate experience and HR systems administration. The HR Summer Intern will support the Human Resources team with recruiting activities candidate communication and job description maintenance. This role is designed for a college student seeking hands-on experience in talent acquisition and HR operations.
Key Responsibilities
Assist with recruiting and sourcing candidates through job boards referrals and other talent channels.
Review resumes and help identify qualified candidates for open positions.
Respond to candidates in a timely professional manner and coordinate follow-up communication.
Support interview scheduling and candidate status updates.
Update job descriptions and relevant competencies in the UKG system.
Assist with maintaining accurate recruiting records and HR documentation.
Support additional HR projects as needed.
Required Qualifications
Currently pursuing a degree in Human Resources Business Administration Psychology or a related field.
Must have completed2 years of college courseworkin a relevant field.
English proficiency at a professional level is required for speaking reading and writing.
High attention to detail and ability to handle confidential information.
Proficiency with Microsoft Office and comfort learning HR systems.
Required Eligibility
Must be aU.S. citizendue to federal contractor requirements includingITAR/FARcompliance.
Preferred Qualifications
Interest in recruiting sourcing or talent acquisition.
Experience with applicant tracking systems or HR software including UKG.
Strong organizational skills and ability to manage multiple priorities.
