What are we looking for

Education and Experience:

Bachelors in human resources business administration public administration or a related field; plus three or more years of related work experience. Alternative combinations of education and experience may be considered on a case-by-case basis. Certification to perform job classifications for the State of Montana is required. If certification is not held at the time of hire it must be obtained within six (6) months of starting the role.

Competencies:

Knowledge of:

Full-Cycle Recruitment: Understanding every stage of hiring from initial job requisition and intake meetings to candidate sourcing screening interviewing and onboarding.

Employment Law & Compliance: Knowledge of local state and federal labor regulations equal opportunity guidelines and non-discriminatory hiring practices.

Recruitment Technology: Familiarity with Applicant Tracking Systems (ATS) and Human Resources Information Systems (HRIS).

Ability to:

Screen resumes and job applications to identify qualified candidates byassessing applicants relevant knowledge skills and experience.

Ensure compliance with employment laws regulations and state policies.

Coordinate and schedule interviews between candidates and hiring managers.

Maintainaccuratecandidate records and track recruitment metrics.

Influence through strong working relationships expertise and data and can effectively support a complex set of stakeholders.

What is this career opportunity

The Department of Administration is seeking an experienced Recruiter to manage the full recruitment cycle from sourcing and attracting candidates to interviewing and collaborating on hiring decisions. This role works closely with department leadership and HR Business Partners to proactivelyidentifyhiring needs and ensure the organization attracts hires andretainstop talent while maintaining a strong talent pipeline. This role will be responsible for ensuring jobs are classified properly in compliance with applicable occupational and FLSA standards.
