Housekeeper HRS-822

Position Summary

Under the supervision of the Housekeeping Supervisor performs cleaning and disinfecting throughout the Hospital to maintain a safe sanitary and welcoming environment for patients staff and visitors. Responsibilities include floor care waste and linen removal and general housekeeping duties.

Key Responsibilities

• Clean and disinfect patient and non-patient areas according to established standards.
• Perform floor care and routine cleaning using appropriate chemicals supplies and equipment.
• Collect and remove trash and soiled linen according to established procedures.
• Maintain assigned areas equipment and storage spaces in a clean and orderly condition.
• Follow infection prevention safety chemical handling and personal protective equipment requirements.
• Identify and report safety hazards maintenance concerns and other issues to the appropriate supervisor.
• Complete assigned duties efficiently and assist with additional areas or tasks based on operational needs.
• Provide courteous and professional service while working collaboratively with patients visitors and Hospital staff.

Minimum Qualifications

• High school diploma or GED required.
• Ability to read write and follow written and verbal instructions in English.
• Housekeeping experience and knowledge of cleaning methods products and equipment preferred but not required.
• Ability to perform the physical requirements of the position including lifting and performing routine repetitive tasks.

Job Type: Full-time Day Shifts (Sunday - Thursday 7:30am - 4:00 pm)

Pay: $23.00-$32.00/hourly
