Household Manager

A private family is seeking an experiencedhands-on Live Out House Managerto oversee the daily operations maintenance and grounds of a large private residence inSag Harbor NY.

The family is lookingfor adedicated House Managerto take full ownership of the residence and ensure everything is maintained and running smoothly.

• Oversee the daily maintenance and operations of the home and extensive grounds
• Behands-on and mechanically inclined able to troubleshoot issues and handle minor repairs
• Manage landscaping seasonal property preparation and regular property inspections
• Coordinate and oversee vendors contractors landscapers and service providers
• Supervise household cleaners and ensure the home is maintained to the familys standards
• Monitor essential home systems including heating plumbing electrical water/well systems appliances and refrigeration
• Prepare the home for the familys arrival and secure it when they leave
• Proactively identify and resolve issues rather than waiting for problems to arise
• Track household/property expenses and communicate with the family office;accounting is handled by the family office
• During the summer coordinate closely with the chef nannies and two full-time housekeepers
• Assist with weekends and special events as needed

Fall/Winter/Spring:Approximately40 hours/week
The family is at the residence approximately once a month during the Fall Winter and Spring.

Summer:Approximately5060 hours/week
June through August is the busiest season with weekends often being heavier workdays. During the summer the household will include a chef nannies and two full-time housekeepers.

• ExperiencedHouse Manager Estate Manager or Property Manager
• Extremelyhands-on handy and mechanically/technically inclined
• Experienced with large homes grounds vendors and contractors
• Comfortable supervising household staff
• Proactive reliable organized and able to work independently
• Discreet trustworthy and professional
• Comfortable with a demanding summer schedule and weekends
• Able to takefull ownership of the propertyand anticipate the familys needs

Compensation: $135000-$150000 depending on experience and overall fit.
