Host/Hostess (Part-Time)- Renaissance Allentown Hotel

Renaissance Allentown is seeking a welcoming and professional Host/Hostess to join our this role you will be the first point of contact for our guests setting the tone for an exceptional dining experience.

Responsibilities:

• Greet and seat all guests with professionalism and warmth.
• Maintain an organized seating chart using the Open Table reservation system.
• Ensure tables are properly set before seating guests.
• Answer phone calls and assist with reservations following all procedures.
• Accurately handle cash and room charge transactions.
• Keep the host podium clean organized and fully stocked.
• Ensure menus are clean and presentable before each shift.
• Be knowledgeable about the hotel facilities including their locations and hours of operation.

Qualifications:

• Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
• Ability to read speak and write in English fluently.
• Professional phone etiquette and reservation management skills.
• Able to stand for extended periods throughout the shift.
• One year of prior work experience is preferred.
