- Greeting & Seating: Welcome guests warmly upon arrival escort them to assigned tables or waiting areas and hand out menus.
- Reservation & Waitlist Management: Take phone or digital bookings track live table availability and provide accurate wait-time estimates during busy shifts.
- Floor Coordination: Balance the rotation of tables among servers to keep workloads even and prevent kitchen bottlenecks.
- Customer Service: Answer initial menu and dietary questions handle basic guest requests or complaints and manage departures.
- Side Work & Maintenance: Keep the entrance clean and organized stock menus help clear or reset tables and occasionally assist with to-go orders.
Required Skills & Qualifications
- Interpersonal Skills: A friendly calm and professional demeanor under high-pressure or crowded conditions.
- Organization: Strong multitasking abilities to manage a live floor plan phone lines and waiting guests simultaneously.
- Knowledge: Familiarity with the restaurant menu daily specials and seating layout.
- Education & Experience: Typically requires a high school diploma with prior customer service or front-of-house hospitality experience preferred.
- We offer medical and dental insurance for full time employees (30 hours or more per week) after 90 days of employment.
