Job Summary
Vancouver Clinic is hiring anon-callHistotechnicianto join our pathology this role you will prepare and process tissue specimens perform embedding microtomy and staining procedures including H&E IHC and special stains and support quality control documentation equipment maintenance and lab compliance. The ideal candidate has a strong understanding of histology techniques excellent communication skills attention to detail and the ability to work independently while collaborating effectively with lab leaders coworkers and pathologists.

Schedule:On call - Monday - Friday Variable start times between 3am to 7am will work 8-10/hour shifts. Must be flexible toworkan on-call variable schedule.
Hiring rangegenerally between$33.88/hour to $42.48/hour and placement in the range depends on an evaluation of experience.
Requirements:
Certificationas aHistotechnician(HT (ASCP)) or Histotechnologist (HTL (ASCP)) by the American Society for Clinical Pathology (ASCP)
Maintenance of certification status and relevant CME requirements
Minimum associate degree in biological or science field preferred
Minimum of one-year experience as a Histology Technician
Previousexperience with Laboratory Information Systems (LIS) helpful
Familiarity with lab safety infection control and biohazard disposal
Strong attention to detail and organizational skills

Pay Range:
