History Teacher (.50 FTE)

Job Summary
Lincoln-Sudbury Regional School District seeks a qualified .50 FTE History Teacher commencing at the start of the 2026-2027 school year to teach a9th GradeModern World History class and a10th Grade Modern America History class.
Duties and Responsibilities (Not limited to):
- Serve as a positive and collaborative member of the LS community
- Plans lessons that meet the individual needs interests and abilities of the students
- Creates a classroom environment that is inclusive and productive and maintains appropriate standards of classroom behavior
- Provides timely and appropriate feedback to students with progress reports as needed
- Communicates with parents to discuss student progress
- Pursues professional growth through activities in and out of school
- Cooperates with other professional staff in supporting student learning
- Fulfill other duties as assigned
Qualifications:
- Bachelors degree required Masters degree preferred from an accredited college or university
- Licensed or eligible for licensure in the appropriate field by the Massachusetts Department of Elementary & Secondary Education to include Sheltered English Immersion (SEI) endorsement
Experience Preferred:
- 3 years educational teaching environment
- High School teaching experience
Salary:
- According to the Teachers CBA
- Prorate annual salary according to the .50 FTE
Position:
- .5 FTE: .25 FTE .25 FTE Long-Term Substitute
