As an Healthcare Technical Consulting Senior Associate you will:
Partner with a team of healthcare technical and project management consultants to ensure the seamless integration data
migration and system performance of Epic systems
Leverage technical expertise in Epic modules providing support to optimize the systems functionality in workflow and
technology to improve hospital operations and financial outcomes
Provide guidance and recommendations on Epic applications offering suggestions and participating in discussions on
operational and technology improvements
Identify opportunities for system optimization and enhancement to improve efficiency and user satisfaction

Key Responsibilities
  • Lead and support Epic Patient Access initiatives including implementations optimizations upgrades and workflow redesign efforts.
  • Analyze current-state workflows and recommend best practices to improve patient access operations.
  • Facilitate requirements gathering sessions with clinical operational and IT stakeholders.
  • Configure test and deploy Epic Patient Access applications and related functionality.
  • Provide end-user training and workflow guidance to client teams.
  • Create and maintain project documentation workflow diagrams and build specifications.
  • Support issue resolution system enhancements and post-go-live stabilization activities.
  • Collaborate with cross-functional Epic teams including Revenue Cycle HIM Clinical and Reporting teams.
  • Serve as a subject matter expert and provide strategic recommendations regarding Epic Patient Access best practices.
Required Qualifications
  • Bachelors degree or equivalent work experience.
  • 3 years of Epic Patient Access experience in a healthcare or consulting environment.
  • Experience supporting Epic implementations optimizations upgrades or support engagements.
  • Strong understanding of patient access workflows including:
    • Scheduling
    • Registration
    • Insurance Verification
    • Referrals and Authorizations
    • Revenue Cycle integration
  • Experience conducting workflow assessments and translating business requirements into Epic solutions.
  • Strong communication facilitation and stakeholder management skills.
  • Ability to work independently while managing multiple priorities and deadlines.
  • Willingness to travel based on client and project requirements.
Preferred Qualifications
  • Prior healthcare consulting experience.
  • Experience working in large integrated health systems or academic medical centers.
  • Knowledge of Revenue Cycle workflows and downstream impacts.
  • Experience with workflow redesign operational transformation and change management initiatives.
  • Experience mentoring junior consultants or analysts.
  • Previous go-live support experience.
Preferred Epic Certifications

Candidates should possess one or more of the following active Epic certifications:

  • Epic Prelude Certification (Preferred)
  • Epic Real-Time Eligibility (RTE) Certification (Preferred)
  • Epic Cadence Certification (Preferred)

Additional certifications considered a plus:

  • Epic Grand Central
  • Epic Referrals
  • Epic Revenue Cycle-related certifications

The estimated base rate range for this job will vary based on multiple factors including but not limited to specific skills or certifications years of experience market changes and required travel. The job is also eligible toparticipatein Hurons benefit plans which include medical dental and vision coverage and other wellness programs. The rate range of information provided isin accordance withapplicable state and local lawsregardingsalary transparency that are currently in effect and may be implemented in the future.
