Job Summary
Program Leadership
Develop and implement a comprehensive vision and strategy for the womens rugby program.
Promote a culture of respect inclusivity teamwork and accountability.
Serve as a mentor and role model for student-athletes.
Coaching & Player Development
Plan and conduct training sessions that build technical skills tactical knowledge and physical fitness.
Develop individualized growth plans for players at varying skill levels.
Analyze match performance and implement strategies for continuous improvement.
Recruitment & Retention
Identify evaluate and recruit prospective student-athletes who fit the programs academic and athletic standards.
Maintain strong communication with recruits families and high school/club coaches.
Support player retention through consistent engagement support and mentorship.
Program Administration
Oversee scheduling of practices matches travel and tournaments.
Manage the programs budget responsibly including equipment and travel expenses.
Ensure compliance with institutional conference and governing body (e.g. USA Rugby NCAA NIRA etc.) rules and regulations.
Community Engagement
Foster alumni and community support for the womens rugby program.
Organize camps clinics and outreach events to promote rugby development.
Collaborate with athletic department staff trainers and academic support services.
Minimum Qualifications:
Bachelors Degree
Demonstration of experience in Rugby Coaching
Preferred Qualifications:
Coaching in collegiate setting
Hourly Rate: $18.00
