About Firecrawl

Firecrawl is the easiest way to turn the web into data AI agents can use. One API call converts any URL into clean LLM-ready markdown or structured data - the boring-hard problem everyone building with LLMs eventually hits solved.

We hit 8 figures in ARR in year one and more than doubled it in year two. We have 170k GitHub stars and developers agents and category-defining AI companies build on us every day. Growth like this is rare and were just getting started.

Were a small team punching far above our weight. Everyone here owns a real piece of the product and company end to end and runs it themselves - no hiding behind process or headcount.

This is a place for people who want to work at the frontier: an AI company building the infrastructure other AI companies run on not one bolting AI onto an existing product. We move fast go deep and are building the tools superintelligence will rely on to gather data from the web.

What Youll Do
  • Own product strategy and roadmap and the hard prioritization calls that come with them

  • Turn a fast-moving market and deep developer insight into a clear plan for what we build next

  • Work directly with the founders and engineering to shape Firecrawls direction

  • Build and lead the product function including our Product Operations Engineer and set the bar for how product works here

  • Stay close to developers and the product itself your decisions should come from real understanding not distance

  • Own the outcomes: what ships whether it lands and what we learn

What Were Looking For
  • Youve led product for a developer-facing API or technical product and you understand how developers evaluate and adopt tools

  • Youve owned strategy and roadmap for a real product and made the hard calls about what not to build

  • Youre technical enough to earn engineerings trust and go deep on the product

  • You lead by raising the bar and owning outcomes not by adding process

  • You move fast and close the loop - youd rather ship learn and iterate than plan in a vacuum

What Were NOT Looking For
  • A process-first product leader who needs a big org and long cycles to operate

  • Someone whos led product only for non-technical or enterprise products and hasnt lived the developer motion

  • A strategist who wont get their hands dirty in the actual product

A Note On Pace

We operate at an absurd level of urgency because the window for what were building wont stay open forever. If that excites you keep reading. If it doesnt no hard feelings but this role probably isnt for you.

Intro Chat (25 min) A conversation to get to know each other before we go deep. What youve built what drew you to Firecrawl and what youre looking for. Time for your questions too.

Product Deep Dive (60 min) Walk us through a product you owned end to end: the strategy the hard tradeoffs what worked and what didnt. Then a live scenario on how youd think about Firecrawls product direction from here.

Founder Chats (60 min) Deeper conversations with the founders on vision pace judgment and how you lead. For a role this central we go deep on both directions of fit.

References Final (30 min) Reference conversations and a final discussion. For a leadership hire track record and how you operate matter as much as the interviews.
