Group Home Worker

Join LIFE Inc. -Edenton as a Group Home Worker in Edenton NC where you will play a vital role in supporting individuals with daily living activities and promoting their independence. This part-time position offers an hourly wage of $17.50 paid bi-weekly with shifts available on both the 1st and 2nd shifts. Responsibilities

• Provide compassionate assistance and supervision to clients during personal care activities such as dressing bathing and toileting.
• Support clients during meal times ensuring the effective use of family-style dining to foster social engagement and healthy eating habits.
• Assist clients with housekeeping tasks including clothing care household cleaning and yard maintenance promoting cleanliness and organization.
• Help prepare meals and nutritional supplements ensuring clients receive proper nourishment.
• Administer prescribed medications accurately and monitor clients for any reactions or side effects.
• Implement prescribed diet plans and assist clients in using adaptive equipment to support their health and mobility.
• Follow established behavioral programs maintain detailed data collection and adhere strictly to all safety protocols.
• Support clients in active treatment programs by assisting with training objectives recording progress and helping achieve service goals.
• Collaborate as a proactive member of the interdisciplinary team communicating relevant client information as directed by supervisors.
• Transport clients safely using company vehicles for appointments and community outings.
• Accompany and supervise clients during community participation as well as school and day program activities.
• Perform additional duties as assigned to promote client well-being and program success.

Requirements

• Possess a minimum of a High School Diploma or GED.
• Hold a valid North Carolina Drivers License.
• Be at least 21 years of age.
• No prior experience is required; comprehensive training will be provided.
