Grind Machinist 2nd or 3rd Shift

The Grind Machinist is responsible for setting up and operating a variety of grinding machines to produce parts in accordance with blueprint specifications and work position will be based at our location in Warsaw IN and assigned to a 2nd or 3rd shift Youll Do:Operates grinding equipment and runs production in accordance with established procedures and setup for parts according to blueprints and inspection gauges such as calipers micrometers height gauges and comparator to perform quality checks on parts as outlined by AQL and work dimensional problems and approves setups by other and ensures accurate counts on completed parts and scrapped parts; completes production paperwork and makes required entries into company with all policies and other duties as Youll Need:Ability to read and use calipers micrometers height gauge depth and interpret blueprints and work operations sheets to determine appropriate operations to be of G & M CodesStrong understanding of interpersonal skills. Ability to work with little direct to lift and carry 40 to stand and walk eight hours plus per to work overtime (daily/weekly)Minimum of a High School Diploma or equivalent
