Google Workspace Architect

We are seeking a Google Workspace Architect to lead the design implementation and optimization of our enterprise Google Workspace environment supporting over 200000 end users. This individual will own the architecture and strategy for Gmail Google Drive Docs Sheets Slides Meet Chat Calendar Admin Console and ChromeOS/Chromebook environments ensuring a secure scalable and user-friendly collaboration platform across the organization.

The ideal candidate will bring deep expertise in Google Workspace architecture security governance automation and large-scale enterprise deployments with experience designing and managing ChromeOS device strategies Chromebook administration endpoint management and Google Workspace integrations.

• Deep expertise in Google Workspace architecture and administration in large enterprise environments.
• Experience designing and implementing solutions for Gmail Drive Docs Sheets Slides Meet Chat Calendar and Admin Console.
• Strong knowledge of ChromeOS and Chromebook fleet management including provisioning configuration security policies lifecycle management and endpoint administration.
• Experience managing Chromebooks through Google Admin Console and enterprise device management frameworks.
• Knowledge of Google Workspace security compliance identity management SSO and governance best practices.
• Experience with large-scale collaboration platform migrations transformations or optimization initiatives.
• Ability to design scalable architectures supporting hundreds of thousands of users.
• Strong stakeholder management and executive communication skills.

• 5 years administering Google Workspace at enterprise scale (500 users)
• 2 years in an architect or lead engineer role
• Deep expertise in Admin Console Gmail routing Drive and identity/access management
• Experience with Google Cloud Identity GCP fundamentals and directory sync (GCDS)
• Strong understanding of security best practices: DLP encryption Vault audit logs
• Scripting/automation experience (Apps Script Python GAM)
• Google Workspace Administrator or Professional Collaboration Engineer certification

• Google Cloud Certified - Professional Cloud Architect
• Experience with large-scale migrations and M&A integrations
• Knowledge of Microsoft 365 coexistence
• ITIL or change management experience

• A secure well-governed Workspace environment with minimal downtime
• High user adoption and satisfaction
• Clear policies for sharing retention and access that meet compliance needs
