Golang AWS IAM Developer

STAFFXPERT LLC is seeking a Golang AWS IAM Developer on behalf of our client in Richmond VA. We are looking for an experienced cloud engineer with strong expertise in GoLang development AWS serverless technologies and Identity & Access Management (IAM). This role will support the development and enhancement of a large-scale cloud compliance and governance platform operating within a highly regulated enterprise environment.

The ideal candidate will have hands-on experience building scalable backend services implementing cloud security controls and developing serverless architectures that process high volumes of compliance and operational data.

• Design develop and maintain backend applications using GoLang.

• Build and enhance serverless solutions leveraging AWS Lambda and AWS Step Functions.

• Implement and manage AWS IAM controls policies and compliance capabilities.

• Develop maintain and optimize AWS CloudFormation templates.

• Containerize and deploy applications using Docker.

• Work with PostgreSQL and Snowflake databases to support data processing and reporting needs.

• Develop scalable cloud-based data pipelines and automation workflows.

• Support cloud governance compliance monitoring and security initiatives.

• Collaborate with cross-functional engineering teams to improve platform capabilities and operational efficiency.

• Participate in code reviews testing deployment and production support activities.

• 6 years of software development experience.

• Strong expertise in GoLang development.

• Hands-on experience with AWS Lambda AWS Step Functions and serverless architecture.

• Deep understanding of AWS Identity & Access Management (IAM).

• Experience developing and maintaining AWS CloudFormation templates.

• Proficiency with Docker and containerized application deployment.

• Experience working with PostgreSQL databases.

• Previous experience supporting large-scale AWS environments.

• Strong problem-solving and analytical skills.

• Excellent communication and collaboration abilities.

• Experience working with Snowflake.

• Knowledge of cloud compliance governance and security frameworks.

• Experience building large-scale data processing pipelines.

• AWS Solutions Architect or AWS Developer certification.

• Experience within the financial services industry.

• Prior experience supporting enterprise cloud compliance platforms.
