Global Sr. Manager- Strategy

Job Description:

The Senior Manager of Global Strategy for Mars Snacking will support the development and deployment of our global strategies playing a key role in supporting the long-term growth and value creation journey of the company. This highly visible position reporting to the Director of Global Strategy and working in close coordination with the Mars Snacking Leadership Team will be filled by a candidate with exceptional drive and energy who has strong analytical skills the ability to turn data into insights and highly effective verbal and written communications skills.

What are we looking for

Bachelors degree in Finance/Business or related field is required. MBA/MS is strongly preferred.

5 years experience in either global corporate strategy or strategy consulting at a top tier firm (with strong preference for CPG industry experience)

Strong analytical skills including the ability to break problems into logical sub-components build a framework for analysis collect and structure large amounts of data and conduct thoughtful analyses to arrive at business recommendations

Strong communication and presentation skills including the ability to synthesize and clearly communicate complex findings through focus on critical issues and actionable opportunities

Ability to quickly establish rapport credibility trust and respect with peers team members and executives

Track record of success in effectively owning and driving complex projects involving frequent interaction with senior executives

Comfort in dealing with ambiguity

Extensive experience in Microsoft PowerPoint and Excel required

Passion for consumer goods and our brands

What will be your key responsibilities

Lead current Strategy deployment and continue to track vs target and identify and track growth opportunities/ risks.

Lead Global Ice Cream strategy refresh and mid-term planning

Collaborate with each key region on need base on a localization of the refreshed strategy

Drive our competitive intelligence and benchmarking in close collaboration with our regional teams and conduct desk research and data analysis

Lead Geographic expansion and the role of licensing

Communicate our challenges strengths and performance to senior stakeholders (C-suite / Board) via thoughtful compelling and polished presentations

Lead and execute internal projects across a myriad of critical business issues to help deliver on our global with regional and global stakeholders to define the key questions that need to be answered develop a plan and approach to solve and execute against the plan to deliver results

Partner with IC business leaders to sharpen priorities & seed growth areas.

Help upskill the ice cream organization with critical skills and mindsets and support developing key talents

The base pay range for this position at commencement of employment is between the range listed below however base pay offered may vary depending on multiple individualized factors including but not limited to job-related knowledge skills and total compensation package for this position will include variable pay medical and dental benefits participation in 401k plan and paid time off of participation in these benefit plans will be provided if an applicant receives an offer of employment.
