About the Role

We are seeking a motivated and reliable General Hand/Forklift Operator to join our Retail team in a varied hands-on role supporting operations within our Mitchell warehouse and retail stores across ACT and NSW. Working as part of a collaborative team you will assist with a range of activities including receipting sorting and distributing stock supporting retail operations and helping to ensure the smooth day-to-day running of our services.

This is a physically active role that involves regular lifting moving and handling of goods within National Standard for Manual Handling and WHS guidelines. The successful applicant will enjoy a diverse workload and be willing to assist across a range of operational activities including operating a forklift or small truck when required. This role requires availability across weekdays and Saturdays.

About You

You are a reliable team player with a positive attitude and a strong work ethic. You enjoy hands-on work can stay focused on repetitive sorting tasks and take pride in contributing to a productive and supportive team environment.

You are physically fit and comfortable working in an active role that involves regular lifting moving and handling of goods including bags weighing up to 15 kilograms and shared loads of furniture and other items of varying weights.

To be successful in this role you must hold a current Driver Licence and Forklift Licence. You will also be required to complete a National Police Check and hold or obtain a Working with Vulnerable People (WWVP) Card prior to commencement.
