Scope:

• TheGeneral Assembler II supports the production supervisor and the Sterilization Specialist to ensure the correct handling of materials carry out the corresponding transactions in the computer systems and ensure compliance with the production plan.

• Ensure the supply of material for the work orders that will be required by the production processes.

• Managing preparing and planning of all Sterile loads under the direction of the Sterilization Specialist

• Maintain organization between various sterile products to support accuracy in shipments.

• Process verification of shipments for compliance and quality standards

• Inform the supervisor when there are inconsistencies between the material delivered and what is indicated in the pick list.

• Make returns at the system level and return the material to the warehouse.

• Ensure the correct functioning of the Kanbans or the stages of the area including assignments of materials from these Kanbans or stage areas to the production orders.

• Maintain effective communication with supervisors and production leaders.

• Maintain promote and ensure Good Manufacturing Practices in the assigned process.

• Ensure compliance with occupational health standards against risk in the workplace.

• Ensure order cleanliness and discipline.

• Make raw material inventories and adjustments when required.

• Perform other duties as assigned by the supervisor or manager.

• Unload and load trucks with forklift.

• Prepare and pack all finished goods to ship to costumer or vendor.

Travel:

• No regular travel required; occasional training travel may occur.

Knowledge Skills and Abilities:

• Solid understanding of medical device assembly processes quality standards and regulatory compliance.
• Proficient in using hand tools fixtures and basic machinery for precise assembly work.
• Ability to accurately interpret work instructions diagrams and technical documentation.
• Strong attention to detail manual dexterity and commitment to maintaining high-quality standards.
• Capable of working independently or collaboratively in a fast-paced dynamic environment.

Work Environment:

• Operates in a controlled manufacturing or cleanroom environment adhering to strict quality and regulatory standards.
• Requires prolonged standing precise manual tasks and handling of small components or light equipment.
• Compliance with PPE requirements safety protocols and cleanroom procedures is essential.
• Fast-paced collaborative environment emphasizing efficiency accuracy and continuous improvement.

Experience:

• 24 years of assembly or manufacturing experience preferably in a regulated or medical device environment.

Education:

• High school diploma or equivalent required. Technical or vocational training in manufacturing is preferred.
