Job Description: As a Technical Product Manager you will act as a key bridge between complex business workflows and technical engineering execution within a large enterprise IT environment. This role involves assessing specialized applications platforms and data product requests while combining strong business acumen with deep technical knowledge of system architecture integrations and data structures to deliver scalable and compliant solutions.
Key Responsibilities:
Serve as the primary liaison between business units leadership stakeholders and engineering teams
Lead discovery sessions to analyze user needs and convert business requirements into prioritized product backlogs
Translate business processes into technical specifications system architecture diagrams user stories and acceptance criteria
Collaborate with architects security teams and database administrators to assess feasibility and manage system dependencies
Ensure compliance with internal IT governance security protocols and regulatory standards
Evaluate APIs data integrations and existing systems to support build vs. buy decisions
Establish and maintain documentation standards for developed solutions
Provide clear and consistent status updates to stakeholders and leadership
Identify and implement improvements in project intake evaluation and prioritization processes
Develop and maintain templates guidelines and operating procedures for project submissions
Create technical policies documentation and governance materials within defined timelines
Required Skills Experiences Education and Competencies:
4 years of experience in product management or technical program management
Strong ability to translate business requirements into technical solutions and product backlogs
Solid understanding of system architecture integrations and data structures
Experience working with cross-functional teams including engineering security and operations
Strong stakeholder management and communication skills
Proven experience in documentation reporting and governance frameworks
Familiarity with data pipelines GIS or spatial data systems and cloud platforms such as Azure or AWS is preferred
Exposure to enterprise service platforms such as ServiceNow is an advantage
Experience in vendor or contractor management is highly desirable
The hourly range for roles of this nature are $50.00 to $80.00/hr. Rates are heavily dependent on skills experience location and industry.
