We have a newGCP Cloud Engineer opening with our client in Wilmington DE MUST be onsite for hybrid 3 days/week (that is the challenge).
Length:6-month CTH
US Work Status:Preferably US Citizens and GC holders
Location:3 days onsite weekly in Wilmington DE
Required Skills:
4 years of hands-on experience operating Google Cloud Platform (GCP) in production including services such as Cloud Run GKE VPC networking and Secret Manager.
2 years of experience designing and governing infrastructure-as-code using Terraform including reusable module development and organizational standards.
Demonstrated experience owning CI/CD pipelines and deployment automation for cloud-native workloads.
Need the architecture experience
Deep technical expertise in Google Cloud Platform including networking IAM Cloud Run GKE security controls and observability.
Strong understanding of enterprise cloud security segmentation and blast-radius reduction strategies.
Expert-level Terraform proficiency including state management module versioning and GitOps-based workflows.
Ability to confidently challenge designs push back on stakeholders when needed and defend technical decisions in security- and compliance-sensitive environments.
Advanced troubleshooting and root cause analysis skills across cloud network and identity domains.
BONUS
Microsoft Azure Administrator or Solutions Architect certification (preferred; secondary platform).
