Work Schedule:Position available August 24 2026 through May 14 2027. Schedule flexible around students work schedule. 10-20 hours per week.

Position Introduction:

The Warehouse Assistant supports the daily operations of The Missions warehouse by receiving sorting organizing and moving donated merchandise and supplies. This position plays an important role in ensuring donated items are processed efficiently and safely to support the organizations mission. The ideal candidate is dependable hardworking and committed to maintaining a clean organized and safe warehouse environment.

Duties:

  • Receive unload and sort donated merchandise and other incoming shipments.
  • Organize merchandise and supplies in designated warehouse storage areas.
  • Move inventory between receiving storage and retail or distribution areas as needed.
  • Assist with preparing merchandise for display distribution or storage.
  • Maintain accurate organization of inventory and warehouse materials.
  • Help load and unload donations and deliveries.
  • Keep warehouse aisles workstations and storage areas clean safe and free of hazards.
  • Assist with inventory counts and warehouse organization projects.
  • Follow established safety procedures when handling merchandise and equipment.
  • Provide support during donation drives special events or other organizational needs as assigned.
  • Perform other warehouse and operational duties as assigned.

Required Education:

  • Must be currently enrolled in the Fall 2026 Term as an undergraduate student in good standing at the University of Oklahoma.
  • Hiring contingent upon verification of current student status.
