Duties & Responsibilities:
Prepare ingredients and food items under the direction of the Head Chef and kitchen leadership team.
Wash peel cut portion and organize fresh produce for daily kitchen operations.
Trim portion and prepare meats according to recipe and kitchen standards.
Assist in preparing simple menu items such as salads breads sauces dressings and condiments.
Maintain a clean organized and sanitary work environment in accordance with food safety and hygiene standards.
Support receiving and kitchen operations by assisting with unloading inspecting and properly storing deliveries and supplies.
Assist with daily cleaning responsibilities and deep-cleaning projects to ensure kitchen cleanliness and efficiency.
Contribute to a positive team-oriented environment while supporting overall kitchen operations as Inspect and clean food preparation areas such as equipment and work surfaces or serving areas to ensure safe and sanitary food-handling practices
Required Skills and Abilities:
Basic knowledge of food safety sanitation and workplace safety practices or the willingness to learn quickly.
Understanding of basic food preparation techniques and kitchen procedures preferred.
Ability to work efficiently and remain organized in a fast-paced high-energy environment.
Strong time management skills with the ability to multitask and prioritize responsibilities.
Dependable team player with a positive attitude and strong work ethic.

Education & Experience:
High school diploma or general education degree (GED); or one to three months related experience and/or training; or equivalent combination of education and experience.
Food handler training preferred.

Compensation: $13.00 - $17.00 per hour
