Duties & Responsibilities:
  • Prepare ingredients and food items under the direction of the Head Chef and kitchen leadership team.
  • Wash peel cut portion and organize fresh produce for daily kitchen operations.
  • Trim portion and prepare meats according to recipe and kitchen standards.
  • Assist in preparing simple menu items such as salads breads sauces dressings and condiments.
  • Maintain a clean organized and sanitary work environment in accordance with food safety and hygiene standards.
  • Support receiving and kitchen operations by assisting with unloading inspecting and properly storing deliveries and supplies.
  • Assist with daily cleaning responsibilities and deep-cleaning projects to ensure kitchen cleanliness and efficiency.
  • Contribute to a positive team-oriented environment while supporting overall kitchen operations as Inspect and clean food preparation areas such as equipment and work surfaces or serving areas to ensure safe and sanitary food-handling practices
Required Skills and Abilities:
  • Basic knowledge of food safety sanitation and workplace safety practices or the willingness to learn quickly.
  • Understanding of basic food preparation techniques and kitchen procedures preferred.
  • Ability to work efficiently and remain organized in a fast-paced high-energy environment.
  • Strong time management skills with the ability to multitask and prioritize responsibilities.
  • Dependable team player with a positive attitude and strong work ethic.
  • Commitment to maintaining high standards of cleanliness professionalism and personal hygiene.
  • Must be able to complete the essential duties of the job with or without accommodation.

Physical Requirements:
  • Ability to stand and work in a kitchen environment for extended periods of time.
  • Comfortable working in varying kitchen conditions including exposure to heat steam and cold temperatures.
  • Ability to lift carry and move items weighing up to 40 pounds.
  • Flexibility to work evenings weekends holidays and varying schedules as needed.
  • Manual dexterity and knife skills necessary for food preparation and other kitchen duties.
Education & Experience:
  • High school diploma or general education degree (GED); or one to three months related experience and/or training; or equivalent combination of education and experience.
  • Food handler training preferred.

  • None
Compensation: $13.00 - $17.00 per hour
