Full-Time Housekeeper in Princeton, NJ

Position: Full-Time Live-Out Housekeeper
Schedule: MondayFriday approximately 9am4pm or 10am4pm; flexible for the right candidate
Salary: $30$35 per hour depending on experience and qualifications
Start Date: ASAP

A warm and welcoming private family in Philadelphia PA is seeking an experienced highly skilled and detail-oriented Housekeeper to join their household on a long-term basis.

The family has two young children a newborn and a toddler and is looking for someone who can independently maintain their home to a very high standard. The family places a strong emphasis on reliability initiative attention to detail and exceptional care of their home and belongings.

The preferred candidate will work between the familys Philadelphia residence and the mothers nearby home in Newtown PA approximately 25 minutes away. The mothers travels approximately 56 months of the year. When she is away the Housekeeper will continue to maintain the residence.

• Children: Two young children newborn and almost 2 years old
• Home: Approximately 5000 sq. ft. primary residence;
• Pets: Small dogs in both homes; no pet care required
• Household: Additional household support/childcare is available
• Family Preference: One full-time Housekeeper serving both homes

• Maintain the familys homes to an exceptionally high standard
• Perform daily and deep cleaning throughout the residences
• Laundry including childrens and adults clothing
• Properly wash dry fold and organize clothing and linens
• Iron clothing and bed linens
• Care for delicate and high-end materials including cashmere fine china and specialty fabrics
• Thoroughly clean bathrooms showers sinks faucets baseboards and other detailed areas
• Maintain closets drawers and household organization
• Keep household supplies appropriately stocked
• Maintain an organized polished and well-presented home
• Work independently and efficiently without requiring constant direction

No cooking or childcare responsibilities are required.

The ideal candidate is an experienced private-household professional who understands what it takes to maintain a high-end home at an exceptional level.

This family is looking for someone who takes genuine ownership and pride in their work. Rather than simply completing a list of assigned tasks the ideal Housekeeper will naturally notice what needs to be done and take initiative.

• At least 5 years of experience as a professional Housekeeper in a private household
• Experience working in high-end/luxury homes
• Strong knowledge of professional cleaning techniques
• Ability to work independently without micromanagement
• Strong attention to detail
• Reliable and punctual
• Excellent references
• Legal authorization to work in the United States
• Comfortable working between two residences
• Comfortable around small dogs
• Ability to provide consistent long-term service to the family
