ABOUT THE TEAM
The Air Dominance & Strike team at Anduril develops aerial and multi-domain robotic systems. The team is responsible for taking products like Fury (unmanned fighter jet) and Barracuda (air-breathing cruise missile) from concept to product. The team also develops Lattice for Mission Autonomy Andurils premier software platform that enables masses of Fury Barracuda and other first and third party robots to collaborate across various missions. We work in close coordination with specialist teams like Perception Motion Planning Hardware and Test Engineering to solve some of the hardest problems facing our customers.
Were seeking Software Engineers to build the core Command and Control software for our Lattice platform. This team is responsible for bridging the gap between hardware and human operators. Our software runs both on the vehicles managing real-time telemetry health and autopilot tasks and on the Ground Control Station enabling operators to plan missions visualize maps manage massive fleets and orchestrate complex autonomous behaviors. We are also pioneering the integration of GenAI agents into our systems allowing operators to direct autonomous assets using natural language interfaces. This is a highly autonomous role where you will build ship and see your code run on physical hardware deployed in the world.
REQUIRED QUALIFICATIONS
- Eligible to obtain and maintain an active U.S. Top Secret security clearance
- Strong engineering background from industry or school ideally in areas/fields such as Computer Science Software Engineering Mathematics or Physics
- 3 years working in a full-stack capacity in any of the following
- Backend Python C Rust Go Java JavaScript
- Frontend React and Typescript
- Experience building software solutions involving significant amounts of data processing and analysis
- You understand how real-time backend data flows seamlessly into an operators UI.
- Ability to quickly understand and navigate complex systems with a bias toward rapid delivery and iteration
- Desire to collab with team members to deliver novel software capabilities to ambiguous problems
PREFERRED QUALIFICATIONS
- Experience with any of the following distributed systems cloud computing or SAAS
- Experience with multi-agent autonomous systems or defense tech
- Knowledge of military systems and operational tactics
- Strong background with focus in Physics Mathematics and/or Motion Planning to inform modeling & simulation (M&S) and physical systems
US Salary Range
$166000 - $220000 USD
The salary range for this role is an estimate based on a wide range of compensation factors inclusive of base salary only. Actual salary offer may vary based on (but not limited to) work experience education and/or training critical skills and/or business considerations. Highly competitive equity grants are included in the majority of full time offers; and are considered part of Andurils total compensation package.
