Azure Data Engineer / Full Stack Developer

Position Overview

We are seeking a highly skilled Azure Data Engineer / Full Stack Developer to join our team and play a key role in advancing our enterprise data platform. This hands-on position combines data engineering application development and cloud integration expertise to deliver scalable high-performance solutions within the Microsoft Azure ecosystem. The ideal candidate will have strong experience building modern data platforms developing backend services and supporting enterprise-grade applications in a cloud environment.

Key Responsibilities

Design develop and maintain scalable end-to-end data pipelines supporting enterprise data initiatives.

Build and optimize complex SQL queries data models stored procedures and transformation processes.

Develop backend applications APIs and services using C# technologies.

Implement and support Azure-based solutions utilizing Azure Data Factory Azure Functions and related cloud services.

Design and develop RESTful APIs and service layers to facilitate data access and integration with downstream applications.

Develop and maintain batch and event-driven processing frameworks to support business requirements.

Ensure data quality integrity security and performance across all platform components.

Implement monitoring logging alerting and operational support processes for production environments.

Collaborate closely with business stakeholders data engineers architects and DevOps teams to deliver reliable solutions.

Participate in code reviews architectural discussions and the establishment of development standards and best practices.

Support production deployments troubleshoot complex issues and drive continuous platform improvements.

Required Qualifications

10 years of experience in software engineering data engineering or related technical roles.

Strong expertise in SQL development data modeling query optimization and performance tuning.

Hands-on experience developing applications and services using C# .

Proven experience working with Microsoft Azure services including Azure Data Factory and Azure Functions.

Experience designing and developing APIs and service-oriented architectures.

Strong understanding of ETL/ELT methodologies data integration and pipeline design.

Experience working with large-scale distributed or cloud-based data platforms.

Excellent analytical troubleshooting communication and problem-solving skills.

Preferred Qualifications

Experience designing and implementing modern cloud-native data architectures.

Hands-on experience with Apache technologies such as Kafka Spark or Flink.

Knowledge of event-driven architecture patterns and Azure Event Hubs.

Familiarity with Azure App Configuration and Azure API Management (APIM).

Experience implementing CI/CD pipelines and DevOps best practices.

Prior experience within financial services capital markets asset management or investment management environments.
