We are seeking a dependable and detail-oriented Associate to join the fulfillment team and to support production operations by inspecting product quality maintaining accurate counts and packaging finished goods. This role also assists the line operator and supports a clean safe and efficient work environment. Candidates will learn the basic operations of the converting line and rotate through multiple packing stations.
Key Responsibilities
Quality Counting & Documentation
Perform visual quality inspections in accordance with the companys Quality Assurance program.
Follow escalation procedures when identifying non-conforming product.
Ensure all product is packaged according to customer requirements including correct box type correct quantities and accurate labeling.
Maintain accurate counts of good product and waste; complete required paperwork and records.
Packing & Line Support
Support efficient packing processes as outlined by supervision and standard operating procedures.
Work across all four packer stationsafter training:
Pallet Stacker: Assemble cardboard lids perform quality checks remove full boxes from skate tables stack finished goods onto pallets.
Box Making: Construct cardboard boxes; maintain general housekeeping.
Mailer Packer: Pack mailers into constructed boxes on the conveyor while conducting active quality checks.
Utility Packer: Assist operators as needed support quality containment monitor finished-good timestamps and complete housekeeping or non-standard tasks.
Assist line operators with wash-ups make-readies and startups as required.
Participate in rework projects and non-standard assignments after proper training.
Housekeeping & Safety
Keep work areas and floors clean at all times.
Follow all required safety procedures and maintain a safe working environment.
Adhere to safety rules PPE requirements and company policies.
Qualifications
Ability to read and understand job instructions and written/verbal directions.
Successful completion of required Quality Assurance training.
Strong communication and teamwork skills; able to take coaching respectfully.
Ability to work in a fast-paced manufacturing environment with standardized work processes and continuous improvement culture.
Reliable attendance and adherence to company policies.
Must be able to work overtime when required.
Work Environment
Exposure to moving equipment.
Indoor manufacturing environment; temperatures may exceed 90F with humidity above 80%.
Noise levels may exceed 85 dB; hearing protection required.
PPE required as per safety guidelines.
Physical Requirements
Frequent standing stooping sitting lifting twisting pushing and pulling (up to 45 lbs).
Repetitive wrist motion.
Occasional typing/keyboarding.
Education & Experience
High School Diploma or GED required.
Manufacturing or warehouse experience is helpful but not required.
