Main responsibilities:
The Frozen Foods Supervisor is responsible for overseeing the day-to-day operations of the frozen foods department ensuring product availability food safety compliance inventory accuracy and exceptional customer service. This role leads department associates monitors performance and maintains merchandising standards to achieve sales and operational goals.
Key Responsibilities Department Operations- Supervise daily operations of the frozen foods department.
- Ensure shelves freezers and displays are fully stocked organized and visually appealing.
- Monitor product quality freshness and expiration dates.
- Maintain proper inventory levels and place replenishment orders as needed.
- Minimize shrink waste and product loss.
- Schedule train coach and supervise department team members.
- Assign tasks and monitor productivity.
- Conduct performance reviews and provide ongoing feedback.
- Promote a positive safety-focused work environment.
- Track inventory movement and conduct cycle counts.
- Ensure accurate receiving storage and rotation of frozen products.
- Implement merchandising plans promotions and seasonal displays.
- Analyze sales trends and recommend actions to improve performance.
- Ensure compliance with food safety regulations and company policies.
- Maintain required freezer temperatures and equipment logs.
- Follow proper handling storage and sanitation procedures.
- Ensure department compliance with health and safety standards.
- Resolve customer inquiries and complaints professionally.
- Assist customers with product selection and information.
- Drive a customer-first culture within the department.
