Job Summary

Our Client a Retail and Departmental Stores company is looking for a Freelance Assistant Designer Girls Wovens for their New York City NY / Hybrid location.

Responsibilities:

Research and identify trend directions relevant to the customer and analyze competitive and aspirational brands.
Shop the market on a regular basis to stay up to date on current market trends.
Create and maintain organized digital concept/mood boards and inspirational boards
Support the design team in creating and developing seasonal girls wovens collections.

Create and maintain organized digital concept/mood boards and inspirational boards
Support the design team in creating and developing seasonal girls wovens collections
Create and update flat technical sketches through Illustrator and execute organized accurate technical packages through PLM.
Work closely with the CAD team to develop new and trend-right print and pattern seasonally.
Prepare and maintain development decks linesheets and presentation materials like CADs and CBS sheets.
Maintain awareness of corporate calendar and help supervisor manage deadlines
Assist in approving strike-offs lab-dips and other development materials.
Assist in day to day responsibilities including filing/organizing copying and updating development packages.
