The Ford Motor Credit Company (Ford Credit) has received the regulatory conditional approval to form Ford Credit Bank(the Bank) to be headquartered in Salt Lake City Utah.

The Bank will create innovative and simplified banking solutions to help customers across the country finance the purchase of new Ford vehicles parts accessories EV Infrastructure and software and will accept deposits with competitive rates on FDIC-insured savings accounts and certificates of deposit. The Bank will be a direct and wholly owned subsidiary of Ford Credit an indirect wholly owned subsidiary of Ford Motor Company (Ford).

In this position...

The Fraud Analyst reports to the Fraud Manager and is responsible for the real-time monitoring and investigation of suspicious activity across the banks online platforms and payment rails. The Analyst will work closely with leadership and internal stakeholders to resolve fraud events and identify emerging fraud trends to ensure the Banks de novo operations remain secure and resilient.

Responsibilities

What youll do:

  • Monitor and investigate real-time fraud alerts across online banking platforms and payment systems (ACH Wires and Mobile Check Deposits).
  • Monitor and investigate real-time account activity to detect and prevent fraud abuse and unauthorized access.
  • Engage directly with customers to verify flagged transactions and resolve unauthorized activity with a focus on professional communication and customer experience.
  • Work with internal stakeholders (Compliance Legal Cybersecurity) to remediate confirmed fraud and mitigate future risks.
  • Process disputes and recover fraudulent funds.
  • Other duties as assigned.


Qualifications

Youll have...

  • Bachelors degree in Business Finance Criminal Justice or related field or equivalent work experience
  • Minimum of 3 years of experience in fraud analysis financial crimes investigation transaction monitoring dispute/chargeback processing or banking operations.
  • General knowledge of different types of fraud characteristics (e.g. identity theft unauthorized access).
  • Excellent spoken and written English with the ability to manage conflict and challenge existing processes and controls.
  • Working knowledge of Regulation E (Electronic Fund Transfer Act) and dispute resolution timelines/requirements.
  • Understanding of BSA/AML basics and SAR filing triggers.
  • Ability to manage a caseload independently and meet regulatory deadlines
  • Strong attention to detail and ability to handle confidential/sensitive information

  • Experience in a de novo fintech or high-velocity online banking environment.
  • Strong data analytic skills with a methodical approach to problem-solving.
  • Inquisitive nature with high attention to detail and the ability to work under pressure during critical payment investigations.
  • Professional certifications such as Certified Fraud Examiner (CFE) are a plus

This position is a salary grade 5 and ranges from $65100-$109300.
