Job Description:

IERUS Technologies is seeking a FPGA/Embedded Systems Engineer to join a diverse and flexible team. The ideal candidate will have two or more years of experience in design and analysis and SDR experience.

Position Responsibilities:

• Design develop and test FPGA-based HDL and firmware
• Support all phases of system and subsystem development activities with upfront analysis prototyping development and validation
• Hand-on lab testing of hardware
• Acquisition and analysis of laboratory data
• Work with/lead a small team of embedded developers to coordinate development capability to meet component development milestones.

Required Qualifications:

• Bachelors Masters or Doctorate of Science degree from an accredited course of study in Electrical Engineering Computer Science Mathematics or Physics
• Must be a U.S. Citizen with an Active DoD Secret security clearance.
• 3 years of experience with relevant firmware development
• Proficiency in Verilog or VHDL for FPGA-based designs
• Proficiency in C/C in embedded environments
• Familiar with test equipment (power supplies oscilloscopes) and software debugging tools
• Experience in I2C SPI RS-232 or other standard communication interfaces
• Experience working on embedded devices for RF projects preferred
• Demonstrate effective verbal and written communication skills
• Ability to work in a team environment.

Desired Qualifications:

• Active Top Secret DoD security clearance
