Job Overview

We are seeking an experienced Sit-Down Forklift Driver to support daily warehouse and material handling operations. This role involves safely moving product loading and unloading shipments and assisting with inventory processes in a fast-paced environment.

Key Responsibilities

Forklift & Material Handling

• Operate a sit-down (counterbalance) forklift to move pallets cartons and materials
• Load and unload inbound and outbound freight from trailers and containers
• Transport materials to storage staging or production areas
• Stack and stage pallets safely to maximize space and prevent damage

Warehouse Operations

• Pick pull and consolidate orders for shipment
• Label scan and track inventory using RF scanners or warehouse systems
• Perform put-away replenishment and inventory movements
• Verify product against paperwork to ensure accurate shipments

Quality & Inventory Control

• Inspect materials for damage shortages or defects
• Maintain accurate inventory records and activity logs
• Ensure proper handling and storage of all products

Safety & Equipment

• Conduct daily forklift inspections and basic maintenance checks
• Follow all safety policies and OSHA guidelines
• Keep work areas clean organized and hazard-free
• Operate equipment safely to protect people product and facility

Physical Requirements

• Ability to lift up to 5060 lbs regularly
• Stand walk bend and twist for extended shifts (810 hours)
• Comfortable working in a fast-paced warehouse environment
• Ability to safely operate equipment for long periods

Qualifications

• Previous sit-down forklift experience required
• Strong attention to detail and accuracy
• Experience with RF scanners or warehouse systems preferred
• Reliable safety-conscious and team-oriented
