The Heavy Lifter/Dishwasher is responsible for cleaning dishes kitchenware and equipment while safely moving heavy bulk items food crates and machinery. This position ensures compliance with health and safety standards by maintaining an organized hazard-free kitchen and storage environment. This role collaborates with others to create an enjoyable and engaging environment.

The Heavy Lifter/Dishwasher is responsible for maintaining a clean safe and sanitary environment while supporting meal service stocking supplies and assisting with food service operations to patients and staff at Shepherd Center.

Key Responsibilities:
Wash sanitize and store dishes cookware utensils and equipment.

Stock assigned areas with food supplies and products.
Safely move bulk food items deliveries and kitchen equipment.
Maintain work areas equipment and storage areas in a clean safe and sanitary condition.
Monitor and record equipment refrigeration and dish machine temperatures; report and document any deviations.
Restock workstations at the end of meal service including silverware condiments and supplies.
Deliver patient trays accurately and verify patient identity before delivery.
Actively participate in the departments sanitation program ensuring assigned cleaning responsibilities are completed before the end of each shift.
Follow all food safety sanitation and workplace safety standards.
Work collaboratively with team members to create an enjoyable engaging and customer-focused environment.
